Hello lovelies!

My name is Alisha Bains, and I am the owner of Stardust and Sage Photography. Stardust is symbolic of the magical universe that lies above us, within us, and all around us. While Sage represents Mama Earth, the greenery and grounding soil that caresses our feet during our adventures. Then here we are dreaming, playing, loving, between these two sacred spaces above and below, and creating moments to treasure eternally. Moments of raw emotion and intimacy that I hope to capture.

My element is here, behind the camera. My fiery spirit reaches utmost gratitude, admiration, and passion when I am able to make my clients giggle, have fun, and illustrate a version of themselves that they are most proud of.

As a photographer and storyteller based out of Nanaimo, on beautiful Vancouver Island, I am so thrilled to be here. Discussing my absolute love for being around others who have so many experiences to share. Couples, families, individual portraits, maternity and newborn shoots, as well as everything in between. I aspire to spread a little bit of light, love, and magic during our time together and through my work.
